Are newborns receptive of the Qur’an from the womb?

Alsalamu Alaikum,I’m due any day now. I’ve been trying to put the Qur’an any time I can to get the newborn to become familiarised with the beautiful recitation. However, I just want to know how receptive newborns are towards the Qur’an in the womb and after birth – and whether this encourages them later on to actually become familiarised and used to recitation.

I really want my son to memorise the Qur’an – something I’ve never done so far. I’m hoping through him I’ll find encouragement to start hifz with him. Really have this deep urge for him to learn so much in the first 3 years of his life before he becomes more independent towards hifz.

Let me know any recommended tips to get newborns/babies used to Qur’an memorisation and recital.

Jazakum Allah Kheir and Eid Mubarak !!!

Oh and make duaa that inshallah he is due this special day of Arafat or the day of Eid ! I’d be so happy 😍 just the memory of it is thrilling !

Alsalamu alaikum
